I love it. They seem to have fixed a lot of the helicopter bugs. Training missions and the helicopter side of career mode seem to be do-able now. Looking forward to seeing this update as a full release.

How long would you think it will stay at the test branch ? Seems like we cant transfer careers so it defeats thew purpose of spending solid time there.

yes, had a quick test and was able to climb to FL210 and maintain alt

Update 2 just erased everything I build from start: I had 4 planes in 3 companies, and now its gone. No planes, no companies. And in careermode the whole world is open, and not limited to places I've visited before. I now have 5 million credits, compared to 1,3 million prior to update. It is as if I am playing another players game. What a mess.

You do play another game. You play a beta.
I wonder why ppl sign in into Beta if they do not understand what is going to happen.

So for those that do not understand... all progress you make in Beta 2 will be lost.
If you don't want that stay on the main software.

Can confirm. Everything in career mode gone with su2 as well as other annoyances. At least you can revert back to non beta and it seems ok so far.

You guys did read the patch notes? They would have had a hard time spelling out the career mode stuff any clearer.

A restart, all right. I restart in games all the time. I just restarted TF2 the day before and restarted, wiped out all my trophies on the wall and guns in Way of the Hunter. This is right up my alley, restart in Career.

Looks like they took a lot of the work out. I now own ALL the Companies.I was at level 197/198. So I'm green now with all the upgrades except the Heavy and 1 upgrade in Heli's which I haven't even started yet.

I had to log out for some upgrades to load in other games. I guess I got to keep my rep number of 197/198, as I still have all my upgrades. Looked like I didn't have any planes, but a stack of cask. I had 18/20 planes.

I'll figure it all out after my upgrades and breakfast.

Edit: Each Company has a starting plane. The starting plane in Cargo is the C208, will it fly correctly? Let's see, I'll be a test dummy. I'm already half way there.

Edit: { don't know what's going on. There are no flights in Cargo to use the C208. They give you a PC-12 to fly the job and you can't change plane that I see. I put all companies Crew on "on" I'm going to use their plane.

They haven't fixed the PC-12 running 40kts at taxi and the throttle off. Ha ha ha Making the 1st turn after taking off, the game crashes! twice

When I take off and Q the radio as they ask and the game crashes. I'm going try without using the radio. I use the radio at taxi and it doesn't crash. You don't have to stop any more before take off, right out onto the runway and take off. (maybe that's the problem)

Edit: It's defiantly something to do with the radio. I took off fine, didn't use the radio, got all the way to connecting to the flight plan heading to 1st way point. I canceled the Flight following, it worked fine.

I have 3 radio calls wanting a reply, what! So I hit the reply ............. CRASH again.

guess, I'll wait for at least 1 update.

Edit: I'm trying again this time with my own airplane, I think. I had to sell the C208 to have enough money to buy a PC-12. I had 3 people waiting on answer to calls. I did nothing, I think the Pilot next to me answered them. There is still 1 left. I did cancel the Flight Following and it worked. So, we'll see ........ I'm in the air weeeeeeee!

Complete flight of cargo in the PC-12 from start to finish. Here's what it's got at the moment. The Radio is messing up at the beginning. About halfway there I was looking at a different site and I heard a sound like something was hitting my airplane. There was a warning in the windshield about maintenance. The plane I bought is still brand new. So I was flying their plane, not the one I bought.

Lost part of the Flight Plan and had to delete and restore.

I'm coming in for a straight in landing, no Final, nothing on the ATC. I usually come down to 135kts a few miles out, set the flaps to 50%. OVERSPEED for the Flaps. 130kts I try again, same results. At 125kts it finally shuts up. So that sucks.

I landed and no one said a word until we stopped. Through all the turmoil it took my new shinny "S" the U2 gave me and knocked it down to a solid "B". Thanks

The job only paid about 37K cause I had to use their plane. But then I went back to look something up. I go 2.25 mil passive money cause I gave all of them a Crew.

It needs to sit in the oven a little longer. But playing u1, if this is the new direction, everything will be wiped. All your money, all your planes and my 198 level I had is now 111. Your current rep does have an effect on your starting Companies in u2 it seems.

That's odd. VFE for up to 15 degrees of flaps is 165 knots. Past that it drops down to 130 knots.
