Is career mode fixed?
I stopped playing back in December because there were too many bugs, insane wind, "flying over an airport" in the middle of the ocean, taxiing out of control and so on.

Is it better now or it's better to wait another few months?

Wait for another few years
It never will be fixed as MS does not know how to make a career mode.
still a complete buggy mess

If you only do VFR approach missions it works, ILS and RNAV missions almost never complete

IMO there are three problems with career mode:
1) The sorts of bugs you mentioned. A few have been fixed, but many have not. This may or not greatly improve once SU1 is finally released.
2) Poor design decisions. For example, passive income doesn't scale very well. Filters aren't available that would greatly help in selecting missions. Etc., etc., etc.
3) Poor dialogue repeated over and over until I get totally over it.

I'm dubious if the stuff in category 2 will ever be fixed.
Category three will only happen if they get away from their AI generated dialogue or they make it WAY smarter than it currently is.

I have played a lot of career mode, and it is playable to some degree. I took it up to about level 150+ finishing with a Pilatus 12 NGX as the plane I personally flew.

But honestly, IMO, currently Neofly 4 is much better designed and implemented.
Can't fly the A320 in career mode. So for me, no it's not fixed.

I'm still enjoying Career Mode, like Mick said, if you're flying VFR. And using the planes that work, as some work just fine. This game puts you at airports that aren't as easy as drop down and land. Most I don't think even exist.

The Cargo and VIP flights will keep you busy with planes that work fine. Like Eva said, the PC-12 is a great plane that flies good in this game. I've been using the Vision Jet to haul VIP's along with the small twin engine aircraft.

If you buy a plane that doesn't work, just add it to the fleet and collect money that way. Now as far as the big planes which I can fly. I just haven't tried any yet and probably don't have enough money yet. I've got like 15 planes or more. I know they brought in 2.5 mil yesterday.

I yelled and screamed at MSFS2020 when it came out. I think it was in worse shape, or for me anyway. It took a year, but they fixed all the things I used in 2020. The planes that work here fly low so you can enjoy the new graphics. You can't see nothing at FL300 but clouds most of the time.

I'm playing the beta.

The answer is NO!
They didn't do anything.

All they did was doing some Beta releases and they have now entered the infinite loop of putting out new Beta releases detecting that something is wrong and delaying SU1.

Since there will always be something wrong especially if they don't stop adding new things it is easy to see that they will never release SU1 on our life time.

Byway it is maybe the wrong thread for this but I discovered lately why I do enjoy free flying a lot more than the career mode. (went from free flying to career and am now back to free flying)

Of course the A320 that I have in free flight but it is not that or not that alone...
..it is that I fly somewhere...park the Plane at a gate..walk around on the ground a little enjoy the airport life ..then enter the plane again and plan a new leg and fly it and this all without ever have to go back to any menu...

It is a continous flow ... nothing that pulls you out of the immersion of the simulation the illusion.

In carrer it is you land... you park and peng mission is over you can not enjoy the scenery or airport anymore and because the risk of crashes and you want to secure your points you will never not end the mission right after parking....

Soo I see this as a career problem.. and funny if you think about this..
you don't have it with third party software.. you end the mission but you are still there with the plane and on the airport and in most third party software you can continue to fly from that very airport and don't have to teleport elsewhere get out into menu get back in etc...

I don't know if Asobo readys this but I hope they do... I think that should be worth a thought.

No. Repair rate for this game is glacial.
