Sim doesn't detect landing at airport
Twice now, (some time apart) I have flown a mission and at the end, the game did not detect a landing at the destination airport.

The first time I had switched to VFR from IFR and I thought perhaps that was the cause (although I have done that other times with no problem).

Today, I stayed IFR the entire way. It still did not detect the landing. It would also not advance the mission. All said and done, all I could do was abort the mission and lose the over 1 million credits I would have received.

Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, has anyone figured away around this problem?

For additional info, I landed on the correct runway going in the correct direction, and did not veer off the runway and stopped well short of the end. If it matters I was flying a Medium Cargo mission with a Pilatus 12 NGX.

Nothing real stands out as unusual about the mission except I didn't get credit for the landing.

Found this on the forums, I don't know if it works: "I have found a workaround for this bug for the moment. When you land at the intended airport and the mission doesn’t end. start the engines and fly again and then follow the atc chain of commands to land back at the intended runway. This should lead to solving the progression of the mission and then completing it. I tried this 5 times at 5 different instances. It worked all 5 times".
Hmm.. I often had it that broke the Mission Steps the way that there was no return anymore
but so far I always could recover from it by going through manual ATC commands of the airport. -> Request taxi, request taxi to parking.
One or 2 times I had to start taxing and then the mission step came back

So far I never entered a situation where I could not unstuck a stuck mission with doing some manual ATC comms and taxi actions on my own.
Nerver took off again and never.

But might be my situations were all different to yours.

Byway my standard procedure in all flights except Medevac is after take of complete the mission return chain (inclusive ifr request and such) and before 18000 when that chain ended cancle the IFR. You can only do that before 18000 as it seems and useually that just fits fine with the timeing.

p.s. maybe that's important..I always make sure that the on final rwy announcement fits with the rwy I land. If the approach says a wrong rwy in respect to the wind I use manual ATC comm and most important announce the final manual over the ATC menu and not over the mission step retrun because that one would switch your rwy again.
The mission planed rwy itself is irrelevant. It is the final announcement only that matters.

I tried twice, it didn't work for me, there is no ATC commands... https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3406297445 I finally gave up and just switched to NeoFly.

Flew another mission and it was pretty much flawless. That is what is insidious about this game. It turns out periodic reinforcement is stronger than continual reinforcement. It makes sense, you always get the reward and the reward stops, you figure that the gold goose got served for supper. You only occasionally get rewarded, if things go wrong, well, that is the way it is, and you try again.

Actually it wasn't quite flawless. I did get an S but I was pressing the radio reply button instead of my brakes button upon landing. Fortunately, I realized my error when the plane wasn't slowing down long before I put it off the end of the runway.

The reputation in this game is crazy. One bad mission can take you from an A to a C rep. One good mission can take you back into a S rep. I loved the copilot after my mission. He said something really sarcastic like I'm really glad we made it here. This after ratings in the 90s on all counts for the mission and the S rating overall.

Tried this too, its a good Idea to open the tablet and zoom at the landing strip if the game wont load the Airport

I just got 5 complains about restricted airspace violations because I had my plane flying a holding pattern for half an hour crossing a restricted airspace.. lol ... got me a B ranking. As if I care the next flight is an S again anyway.

and yes that co-pilot comments are often wrong same as their voice.
