YAWTC Exceed Speed

Well I have found yet another way to "crash" in career mode. If you exceed the speed limit below FL 100, the system will tell you, and then immediately your plane will crash. I don't know if it always does this, but it certainly has happened to me.

This is of course nonsense. This is not a matter of exceeding the structural limit of the aircraft. This is a matter of exceeding ATC imposed speed limit. As such, it should impose a penalty on how well you followed ATC directions. But it should not crash the airplane and fail the mission.

I did some airlines employed missions, I did exceed the speed limit under 10000 a coupleof times, but never had a CTD. Happy flying

To be clear it was not a crash to desktop. It was a crash in the sense that it told me the plane crashed and the mission ended.

Did it happen in freelancer? I have exceeded the speed limit only in employee, never failed the mission

Yes, it happened in Freelancer mode. I fly almost exclusively freelancer. The employee missions pay too poorly.

Right now the fastest plane i have is the PC-12, when I will buy a faster one i will test this aswell. Hopefully there will be an update with a fix in the new year.
