career mode crash

playing career mode for 30 minutes, the game just crashes without any error
has anyone encountered such a problem and if so, how did you solve it?

Yeah, It happened many times now, i don't know what it is. Especially very frustrating If you just have done a 3 or 4 hour flight without skipping, you land the plane and just before you reach the hold point, my game just crashes to desktop. No error nothing... And I can start the game, and do it all over.. Then do the mission again and always fingers crossed it will not happen again.... and hope that it will at least reach the credits screen, so atleast I get the credits, if it crashes after that, it aint that bad. It takes a few minutes every time to start the game so yeah, kinda mehh

happens randomly. Sometimes I can play for hours, sometimes it crashes early. I noticed it is often (not always) crashing when you are interacting with the menues. Like using buttons in the ATC window. I started using keyboard keys instead, and at least those crashes are now less often. But it also occasionally crashing without any interaction out of nowhere.

When I'm at the world map and wanna do freelancer missions, many times as soon as i click transfer plane, then my game freezes.
And like what you said, I also can play for hours and then it happens or it happens early. I guess we have to life with it?

This I have often too. And it is mostly on the second or later flights of the day. Don't think I have observed that bug on a first flight of the day ever.

The crash at the end of the flight I never had.

I had one while I was still in VR and it wanted to change to the HQ still in VR.
That's when I decided to go out of VR eighter during the engine off in plane shutdown or when I see the mission completed to avoid this from happening again. So far I was lucky that way.

Just bought my first airliner, a Twin Otter in my transport passenger company. I was going to try it out on my first transport passenger mission owning my own plane. Did not even have time to sit down in the plane that it said that I have crashed. This thing is so broken that I am not even sure it should be release in early access. Happy Holidays Microsoft, hope you improve massively in 2025

So funny that you have the same, I have it too, like the second or later flights. What I sometimes do is, not click transfer, go back to the HQ and then click transfer, that sometimes helpes.. like, load it twice before you press transfer, ., it seems kinda helps, but it is maybe just me... I had the freeze just again, restarted and did the mission again without problems.

I'm now gonna save credits so I can buy a Cargo plane to do medium cargo missions in freelance mode, those so net you at least 800K.

Sorry not Twin Otter but ES-30 Heart Aerospace. It crashes every time with penalty to reputation and expensive repairs. Really broken

Nice. Looks similar to my earnings.
I just bought that caravan this morning but still have to collect some maintenance money for it. I will most likely not fly it though. Want to see what passive income it generates.

Byway for it is not a freeze per se but an infinite loading loop that never ends which basicly is the same outcome. I had it running once for half an hour just to see if it ever recovers and it does not.

Had major issues running light cargo in career mode. I was using a hotkey to refuel my plane and that was causing it to crash every single time I used it (would crash later on in the mission)
SInce I deleted the hotkey to refuel and repair I have had zero issues.

Of course you need to buy your fuel and pay for repair. It is the purpose of having a company. The key still work when flying as en employee.

Get this, when I had the ES-30 in my fleet, it was crashing the moment I was getting in the plane. So I decided to keep it in my fleet and wait until they fix it. Then I started crashing when I was flying my PC-12 cargo version for no reason. Then I realized that it was the fact of having the ES-30 in my fleet that made me crash no matter what plane I was flying. I sonld the ES-30 and since then I no longer crash for no reason. The ES-30 is completely broken and do not include it in your fleet until it is fix be Microsoft, it will crash all the planes you fly.
