Cessna 172 altitude and wind lights
Do you also have problem with Cessna 172 to set up altitude by alt knob? There are no integers like 100, 200, 300 but in my case it is only possible to set the height to weird numbers like 1436, 1521, 1679. Also when I'm using plane with rotor there are weird light lines that act like wind from rotors. A few days ago there was everyting ok but for 2-3 days there are still those bugs, I reinstalled the game, verifyed the local files but nothing helped.

hm no, works for me. Really weird. try clearing rolling cache maybe. But not in flight, when in main menu.

Are you scrolling via mouse wheel or something else? That could be it.

I tried to delete cache in AppData, but there isn't any content there. This altitude knob bug happens only to cessna 172, other planes alt knob work well - https://imgur.com/F0p8jfo , and also for all propeller planes I have this weird lanes of neon light - https://imgur.com/F0p8jfo.

no i mean try clearing rolling cache in the sim. In options -> general -> online.
Change cache size, it will override the current rolling cache file with empty file.

I just did that and it didn't help :(

To get rid of the green flashing lines try this:
Options -> General -> Flight Interface and then setting the "Aerodynamic Visualization (CFD)" option to OFF.

I have flown a whole lot of Cesna 172 and it increments by 100 feet for me. I don't recall how, but I think there is a way to change that increment.

Thank you! That helped!

For aynone having same problem with alt knob, I found solution: PFD Output → ALT Units → Meters OFF.
ждун 18 dec, 2024 @ 12:07
ahh glad you solved it.
So that means with meters as ALT units the ALT knob iterates through 100/1000 meters, which is of course indicated as feet in the pfd. This shouldn't be like that. Setting ALT in meters doesn't really makes sense.

Yep, same as it doesn't really make sense to show on mission guidelines speed im km/h 😂
purple_banana 23 dec, 2024 @ 0:09
IIRC They fly in metres/kmh in Russia
