Just bring back Bush Trips
I must say this grinding through "career" is an utter waste of time for many people can we not just have back bush trips. Really a disappointment overall.

Agreed. Very disappointing Bush Trips were removed from the game.

This post indicates that they are being reworked and will come back. I hope that's true. I also enjoyed them a lot. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/why-were-bush-trips-totally-removed/664858

I created this site to take the nav logs off the MSFS screen and follow along on a tablet. I have just added MSFS 2024 Flight Plan Files for most of the bush trips from 2020. I know the Greenland bush trip has a missing airport on the first leg.

Oh, that's good work! The bush trips in 2020, I thought they were a mixed bag. With the improvements in scenery to 2024, that would make those trips better as well. I really enjoy that kind of VFR flying, and navigation by compass and stopwatch is very satisfying. I've made my own flights for other people to follow, which is also a lot of fun to do, but I haven't done that in a long time.

EDIT: I'm going to take back some of what I just said. I hadn't read that thread on the MSFS site before, but I did read others that spoke of Asobo recanting their policy towards missions and bush flights. I don't really understand all of why bush flight were removed, just as I don't understand the demand for career flights, but no doubt more options are better for flight sim overall. That being said, I would not be surprised if the main hurdle was some bug.

And "good work" is far too weak to describe https://msfsbushnavlog.com/. That site is magnificent, and although it's a work-around for what is missing from MSFS, it is an excellent VFR resource for sim bush pilots! Bravo! Bravo! (Which means "B" "B" in the phonetic alphabet, should be Alpha! Alpha!)
