Fuel bugged since patch 3?

I quickly started a career cargo mission to see how things are with patch 3.
Turns out my fuel was on 4% just after a couple of NM with 90% of the way ahead of me.

Anyone experiencing something similar?

Fuel is bugged in career mode. Many times I don't have enough.

You can bind a key to 'add fuel'. Each press fills 25%. There was a reason to not fill up with that command so just do it as you need it maybe.

You can just search the command in the controls menu and bind ti what you want.

Ok, but the issue was not there for me before patch 3. Before the patch, fuel was always perfectly calculated and burnt so that you would normally land with around 10-15% left in the tank.

I guess you were just lucky? I had lots of flights that worked well too but the odd one here and there I got the 'fly on fumes' bug.

Fuel wasn't calculated at all before the patch, you just always started with 37% or whatever it was. I don't think the patch did anything about it, so just bind a key to add fuel in flight for now.

Well i guess i will investigate this a bit more then. Maybe it is specific to the mission i did as a quick test post patch. I know i could add more fuel, but i am just curious as to why it's so different for me suddenly.

You can add fuel during flight. Map a key for repair refuel. When you run out of fuel in flight, hit this key it will fill your plane up.

use 'add fuel' instead. or add fuel during the planning phase as that seems to be fixed now

yeah I used it without issue too... until they didn't want you 'fixing' your plane mid flight in career mode.

so they made it throw an exception if you try and send you back to menu.

are you sure they reverted that in the last patch? i'll try it later to see

You have the opportunity to manage fuel before you start the mission. Just click on the manage fuel & cargo option in the upper right corner of the screen. After running dangerously low on fuel several times, I've started managing fuel before every mission.

i've never had issues in career mode with fuell, till today. Since today, i have same problem.

but yes, you can add fuel in planing phase (in the garage) but you have to pay for the fuel. which obviously does not work as well. lol

i can do it too, but than got an error massage "unexpected error 308-400-00209"
