2 - I don't remember, but you can check in the flight plan for cruise section, you can also override it, or you can enable authothrottle an see target speed (is the value true to real life - I don't know)

Yes, the AT on this plane is a pain. I avoid it completely. It seems to always decide to do something at the wrong time.
I haven't tried yet. My question would be can you use the AT without AP being on? I mean was you landing with AP also on. Or was AT working with AP off? It does on other AT planes I've used.
I may try that today with the AT and no AP if I don't get an answer here first. I used the AT in the last flight with the Vision and it worked great except it went off while landing when I shut the AP off a few miles back.
