Iam done with VIP charter flights - so buggy
Today i tried to manage 2 flights with Vision Jet
First flight was across Alps. Before landing i got to terrible snow storm and again my airspeed meter freezed. I had to abort mission, because it was not possible to figure out how fast i am flying in the snow storm. Don´t understand how can be possible to land in the middle of mountains with such a white darkness...Airpot was in the middle of 10k feet peaks.

2nd Flight really got me, when i had to land in insane short and narrow runway. I made it quiet well, but when i tried to turn around on the runway end it ends up "mission failed" i landed on wrong runway ? Really ? I didn´t get a chance to complete taxi.
I was indeed on correct runway, but the game is buggy mess.

I am really dissapointed.

Pitot Heat. There are some Anti Ice Buttons with one you can prevent exactly this.
-> It is the "Probe Heat" Button in the Vision Jet

I have flown the vision jet a lot in Europe. Pitot heat as mentioned is your friend. Once on runway, if they ask you to turn around (and it happens frequently) skip if possible. If not, comply and hope for the best.
Pitot heat should be on at all times, I know the checklist says otherwise but it's wrong.

It's only the engine/wing anti-ice that can't be on during takeoff/landing because it uses more engine power.

It's not. Realistically having it on for too long while on the ground can damage the probe as it doesn't get any cooling from air rushing over it which is why you wait till just prior to departure to turn it on.

Thanks for explaining first problem, but i was more disappointed for second flight, where mission ended like a failure for nor reason.
I landed on correct narrow runway, but it didn´t alllowed me to turn around at the end of runway.

Can only recomment you to avoid narrow runways. They are often buggy with exactly the outcome you write and if they are not bugged you have to land on them with 40 knts cross wind and hurican tourbulences where no sane persone would even attempt a landing let alone on a rwy that is killer narrow.

Yes I had a number of bad experiences with them. Enough to know to stay away from it if I see a 12 meter thin rwy. That's mostly a game trap.

You are right, today i made one flight starting from huge airport 2 miles from runway....and than again land on extra narrow runway with big tree in the beginning. Insane, whole flight extremly bad weather. I managed to land successfully, but maybe with little luck. But i have to take a look at landing every time now. Sad thing that a lot of times, there is only narrow runway :(
