Works for many of us.
It is one bad thing to launch something incomplete but not doing everything in their might to deliever what is missing in a respectable time thereafter is not acceptable.
The Marketplace is something they should have a big incentive to open because it generates them money. If this isn't motivation enough to make things happen for them what will motivate them to fix all the broken things that not directly generates them money?
Wonder what's going on over there!?
They wanted to create a new flights sim 2024 for whatever reason.. and now motivation lost to finish it or what?
ACES for FSX always had a full-time staff to work on that sim. They did contract out to 2PDS, but I doubt 2PDS or 3PDS are working on Marketplace in this case. Whatever is wrong with Marketplace is a serious fault. I am sure alarm bells are going on continuous, it's such a large project since it's not just PC but also XBOX and whatever else.
As for the suits, they'd be likely to pull the plug as much as they would to throttle anything back. Again, look what happened to ACES.
MSFS probably gets some leeway because it's a flagship project and it's innovative, it pushes MS tech past where it's been. MS counts on these innovations to trickle down to the Gaming Division, and to drive more sales. Once the contracts have been fulfilled, that's when the suits will decide whether or not the whole thing was worth the expense. Really healthy opening sales have helped, the slow death of Marketplace does not.
What do you mean? I see them just fine.
