VR Performance
How does this game do VR compared to MSFS2020? I use a Quest 3 and with the controllers. Are they supported better?

there is not much difference regarding performance. But ultra clouds and ambient occlusion aint hitting performance that hard as in fs20. I didn't try flying with controllers in fs24. In fs20 I did and it was really bad. I would expect that didn't change.
i own a pimax 8kx and i think that the game run more smooth in vr in fs2024.
ALso i am very happy to say that the cockpit of example the cesna 172 now finaly are a good size vs in fs2020 where it with pimax was like sitting in a small toy plane and you had to use all kind of tricks wiht openxr and other software to make the cockpit larger.
But im happy to say that fs2024 pimax for me at least work better and worked out of the box so to speak.
It also feel like it run more smooth except for the first 30-60seconds where it kind of download and build the game world around you..
7800x3d, and 4080rtx
Again not a Quest 3 owner and also haven't used the VR controllers in either 2020 or 2024.

I've flown using both the Pimax Crystal Light and Reverb G2. Overall FPS is slightly lower in 2024 compared to 2020 but the actual frame generation is better so the overall effect is a smoother experience.

Mouse interaction in 2024 in VR can get choppy and unresponsive at times and also there are some additional bugs like the toolbar not currently working in VR.

It's hard to do a direct comparison for me as I always flew in 2020 with the graphics set to TAA mode in DX11 as that seemed the best combo for clarity in VR. 2024 only runs using DX12 and with TAA selected the VR performance takes a real hit. This means having to run with DLSS selected which results in blurrier textures around the cockpit, especially on certain gauges which isn't ideal.

2024 / DLSS feels, as summerised above though, a smoother experience in general than 2020 / TAA.
