Career Mode: What next?
In addition to, or in part because of the buggy planes, I think I have come to something of a standstill.

I have 2 Cesna 172s doing light cargo.
I have a Pilatus 12 NGX doing medium cargo (flown by me)
I have 3 vision G2s flying charter.

It isn't clear at all what is next. I enjoyed career up to this point, but the obvious ways to progress are either broke or rather lacking. For example, I could grind for the 737 but that is badly broke.

I could get another Pilatus 12 NGX for VIP transport, but that is much the same except having to listen to the annoying chatter. Besides from what people have said, there aren't many missions actually available.

I would love to progress by getting something like a Pilatus 24, but that doesn't appear to be available in career.

So I sit at about level 104, with 6 million in the bank, and I'm thinking to myself I might be about done.

It was a good ride, I enjoyed it. But for now it looks a lot like a dead end.

You are stuck there. Same here. I have 6 planes and twice the money you have. There is no way to progress without Asobo fixing stuff.
And nope, you can't do VIP charter with the PC12, there are no missions for that combo also. 737 is totally bugged and could ruin you in a heartbeat, so forget about that. You could do some medic and commercial ad stuff, that's it.

Quick question, I currently have company that has the C172 for light cargo missions. I'd like to also get a larger plane for medium cargo missions. Do I just purchase another plane under my current company? Does the light/medium/heavy cargo planes depend on the aircraft? Finally, If this is all done on my current company, am I able to have a plane in Europe and another one in North America?

Yes.

Yes, but there are no heavy cargo missions at the moment. Only light and medium.

Yes. You just buy it and send it to be delivered to the airport of your choice, or move a plane you already have to your desired destination.

Thanks
This is why I switched to NeoFly, it supports all the planes in all the editions plus thousands more you can download from anywhere.

The base game career mode just makes you feel stuck with only a cessna or only a vision jet for vip missions, there's no variety...

Don't you need to upgrade to the most expensive edeition to get the PC-24? And it still doesn't show up in career mode?

Anyway... my plan, after getting enough money to get the planes I want, is to do the chopper stuff and rescue mission stuff and all that. I'm not really into airliners personally.

I do want to get the Citation jet, but apparently there are no VIP missions for it.

It's in the Premium Delux Edition.
If the marked were open you could buy it as a single plane.

With the PC-24 you can do Cargo Medium and Medevac Missions. You can also do this with a PC-12 but the PC-24 is significant faster.

With Cargo Medium you make money.
With Medevac you have some virtual ppl on board but make only half the money and you may not cancle IFR

I did fly both but settled with the Cargo Medium to have the fastest money progress for some days in which I stocked up 200 small passive income planes.

To maintain 200 planes each day is a real painful work and I created a Programm (still in devleopment) to automatical do that for me. Asobos UI doesn't makes it simple.

In one or 2 days I have the 100 Mill I likely need for the A320 when they free it for the Career. That's all I want from the carrer and some visible virtual passanger in a walkable A320 cabin. From then on I will fly the A320 and A330 as I did in FS2020.

Not sure if I will stick to career and not switch back to free flying..will see once the A320 is integrated how it turns out.

I'm doing Medium Cargo, and could only afford the Cessna 208. I have only managed to do one successful medium cargo mission since in the second one the turbine engine got destroyed. I cancelled the mission instead of trying to emergency land, as I'm pretty sure the game doesn't have a system for handling emergency landings.

Anyway, the turbine engine was rated "Good" when I got the plane, but I guess I ran it too hard or something, even though I kept it in the green. It was like 500k to fix it.

I had the same problem a few days ago, I thought it was because I used simrate and it was making the engine wear much faster than it should.

Well, I have 9 aircraft and 81 million credits and am at level 310. I don't know what to do next: buy more planes or wait until I can get an Airbus when they (might) make it available in career mode. What do people think?
Set a goal, my goal now is to get 1.000.000.000 .
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKreP4wtFiU I'm now doing this, so I get enough credits. 1.000.000.000. So I can buy the Boeing and Beluga., for the heavy missions.. ohh boy, I guess those while bring up millions.
And I wanna buy a brand new "Erickson S-64F Skycrane for 35 million and a CH-47D Chinook for 38 mil.. So a lot of credits to farm!
