I personally use the Turtle Beach Velocity One set (Yoke, Thrust levers and Rudder pedals).
But if you're buying it JUST for this game, I'd say to wait until it gets fixed properly to give value to your purchase. I fly regularly in MSFS 2020 and I love the set, makes it wonderful to immerse yourself (especially because I use Navigraph, Simbrief, Vatsim or BeyondATC for ATC realism too).
Sold out, dang
I can buy it for £350 in UK. yoke and levers.. I dont think it contains pedals but perhaps I can use my car pedals. thanks for advice guys
I have a Saitek X-56 Yoke and Thrust levers. Has more buttons than I need.
And is stable that's the mos timportant. Don't buy a too cheap one. They only break or get damage in no time.
my brain doesnt work with joystick and 3D space :D I need to hold it in two hands :D Im amazed how jet pilots can control such fast machine with a stick. Also I love those kind of planes.. from around WW2 but civilian. especialy those that can land on water and carry some cargo around jungle. like Indiana jones style :D so I need the two handed thing
As stated earlier, I too also use the Velocity One Yoke system. It's a beautiful little set up. What is also great is that it comes pre-programmed for MS 2020 so it is basically ready out of the box. You will want to tweak it for particular AC but you have the defaults all in place already to work off of. It is not set up directly for 2024 but may be in the future, you would have to program it for 2024 manually in the meantime.
The Honeycomb stuff is very good, but the company itself is shaky. If you can get a Honeycomb set through a retailer, so much the better. Virpil quality is excellent, but they do have a few ties to Belarus.
Turtle Beach is not bad, but their build quality could be better. A TB setup probably will endure the test of time, but I wouldn't guarantee it.
As far as Career Mode is concerned... why bother? If you want to do cargo flights, strap into the DC-3 or the Grumman Goose and away you go in Free Flight. Adventure flight is the opposite of career flight, and I'm sure you don't need Big Daddy Pixel to tell you you're a good boy or girl.
I would look at Honeycomb or Thrustmaster
LoL. It is nice to hear and put's a smile on ones face the first few times you hear it till you figure out it isn't a good indicator for your flight performance.
The relations seems to be like that:
Co Pilot Comment -> Grade
-------------------------------
Awesome Flight! -> You will be lucky if you get a C Score loser
Ufff.. glad we arrived! -> Perfect S Score
A true-to-life copilot commentary would have them conversing with DuoLingo while you fly.
"Where is the bathroom?"
"Err... ¿Dónde está la casa de Pepe?"
"Bee-bonk!"
"Aaargh, that was my last bleeding heart, you wretched owl!"
EDIT: 💡Idea -- and this is how I can monetize a looped recording of me failing continuously at Duo. I'll upload this into Marketplace as an authentic cockpit dialogue mod. Then I can afford Super! Or even Max... oh, Lily, my Lily... you will be mine...
