Please add the marketplace ;_;
I want to upgrade my edition and I think it's ridiculous that not only do I have to wait months to do so but that I cannot do it through steam. I would have to pay full price for the next edition.

Who thought this was a good idea?

I don't know if you'll be able to get other editions from the Marketplace, but the price for "upgrades" is full price no matter where you get them. The only way you'll save money is if you wait for a sale.

I'm not sure what you want in the upgrades in the first place. It's just more Asobo-style and 2PD airports and airplanes. Most 3PD add-ons are of higher quality, you could save your money for those.

As for Marketplace, it was supposed to come in with SU1, but it did not. If Asobo screws up Marketplace, I imagine it would be the end of MSFS. They absolutely do not want any more mistakes with that.

This... It sucks to have to wait, but you don't want to spend money there and have your purchases bug out....

true...but my concern is how inept are they, that they cant get it sorted in nearly 4 months now...how can they be trusted with this game, when they cant even release a....marketplace.
I really wish they would get all the base planes working first before selling new ones, the es-30 is completely unflyable and the bell helicopter wont start up and most of the 70 base planes aren't even in career mode, why should we have to buy more when we already have them?

You'd think the one in 2020 could have been ported over fairly easily...
One of the reasons I've waited to buy to be fair.

They just added Marketplace and upgrade option!
!!!!!
But the price is more expensive than buying on Steam

I trying to do standard to aviator upgrade but it stuck on "Please Wait" even before any checkout, just right after i clicked Buy. The only sign of life is that one of the CPU cores is ~80% loaded by MSFS

Same as player1.
Stuck on "Please Wait" trying to upgrade.
Why do they make it so hard to spend money?!
When I test it, I get a quick response, and a steam window opens to purchase credits, like it does in 2020. I didn't complete purchase, since I own most of the aviator edition planes already, but I can confirm the system works up to that point. I can only suggest trying again later, maybe with a reboot in between. I suspect the servers are just wonky right now.

You can also purchase credits through your in game wallet, (not steam wallet). There's a little wallet icon in the upper right region of the marketplace page. Might be worth trying purchasing the credits first, then applying them to the upgrade.

Thank you for response!

Can you please clarify did you buy coins through steam or ms store/xbox? Because i use none of that, only Steam and the issue is still here.
I haven"t bought anything yet, simply because there's nothing there for me yet, but I was referring to buying coins through the MS marketplace. However, all transactions, coins or actual products, should result in the same Steam window popping up for the actual money transaction, regardless. That doesn't happen for you, so I have to wonder if it's an issue with Steam. May want to inquire with their customer service, although it may still be an Asobo/MS issue has well. Something is blocking you for sure, but I'm only guessing at this point.
