And that’s my problem too, I can only play the game at this time after work and it not working at all at this time in Europe.
i changed the DNS to google DNS as described , also re-installed the game. But that did not help.
Change it to cloudfare (directly in the router) as per following description:
https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/low-bandwidth-issues-with-telekom-germany-only/676048/99
I know at least two guys for whom thats the only way to make the game work normal.
Hope this is looked into soon for all regions.
For me the game works fine right now (germany). No bandwidth issues ever again since the first three days after release. But I am also not with that juice shop called Telekom (and never will be).
Same here. Deutsche Telekom 500Mbit, but in the evening "Bandwith low" warning message and flight will load, but it takes up to 10 minutes. horrible
I doubt that. Its likely local wireless issue. To many devices watching youtube in the house?
Also interferences with neightbours wireless networks or devices such as baby phones could be causing interferences. You should measure the bandwidth with a speedtest. If the bandwidth is unstable during the evening it might be interferences. You can verify by connecting with a CAT5 network cable to the router and check if it fixes it. If it does it is definetelly wireless network problem. You could try switching router to different mode. F.e. if its running 5G switching to 2G or vice versa. Or using a wireless repeater could help as it makes the signal stronger.
They were probably thinking that expecting people to have 1.5 Terrabytes available on their M2 drives in their gaming machines and expect them to wait for a week to download it completely would be something difficult to sell.
Well you must not speculate, measure your bandwidth outside of the sim. I am afraid you would be surprised how much less bandwidth you get than what you actually expect it to be. You would not notice that usually from whatching youtube, surfing the web or playing other games that don't need a lot of bandwidth.
Also try connecting with a cable. I have this problems only with wireless, when I connect with cable never seen this problem. Its often issues with unstable local wireless networks. Local wireless networks may have interferences and become unstable. Sometimes you measure full speed, next minute it goes down to less then 1%.
