Sim Rate and Missions in Career
Can you use it and not lose xp or credits? Sitting here in a 90 min flight considering it. Not sure I even WANT to do it, but was curious if anyone else has tried :)

Yes you can use it and you won't lose credits. When you want to return to normal speed you can use the stopwatch on the EFB to check your back to 1x

Didn't know about the stopwatch. So far I've decreased it all the way down until it doesn't go any slower, then back up 4 times, which equals to 1x.

There's also a neat app on flightsim.to called Sim Rate Selector that works good. It goes in the toolbar.

Is it free?

Yes you can use it, i press F1 to increase and F2 to decrease, i just remember how many times i press to get it back to normal, but i also notice the fuel is being used at a faster rate. Can i add fuel in career?

Are you sure the sim rate affects fuel?

Yes, just set Repair>Refuel to a keybind

I heard that one gives an error in career. But there is another keybind called "add fuel" which adds 25% fuel...and this one works. Always using it....till they fix it, that your tanks are not always half empty when you start a mission.

Is this fuel thing a real problem? I haven't run into it yet. I'm wondering if people aren't properly mixing fuel and that's why they run out..?

Remember to switch your fuel to BOTH tanks, as it will be on the LEFT tank when you get into the plane.

I have used the repair and refuel several times with no error, but mind you I do not own my own plane, which maybe it gives an error then due to the repair part.

I have had a couple 3 hour flights that I got low fuel after about 1/3 of the flight, and I feel I had mixture fairly good.
