Potentially depends on which features you use and how. If everything works perfectly fine for u w/o any crashes ever...good for you :)
Deutsche Telekom -
I fixed the DNS once and it seemed to help back then.
I still have the other DNS but nothing is loading at all :(
CTDs did not fully disappear for me also. But it is MUCH better now.
I also stopped switching too much between cockpit and external cameras during flight.
Basically i try to avoid everything that could stress the HW too much.
I also discovered that there are some missions (especially turbo machine flights) that are bugged and are prone to crash at certain points during the mission. I also check/repair installed files after each crash (using the steam checks).
Let's hope the big patch coming next week will fix some of the root causes.
Did you already try to reinstall the game (and delete its cache) after patch 2?
Loading the main menu, first thing i see is the "low bandwidth" info and blurred textures.
Flights are not loading at all.
4080S no overclocking
Hallo Marcellus,
Thanks @NothingButTheBlues!
* reduced the CPU core undervolting a tiny bit for my 7800X3D
* changed the XMP profile settings for my RAM to a bit more conservative one
I changed both settings at the same time, so i can't be 100% sure what fixed it. While both original settings were very carefully choosen/optimized and do run 100% stable in all games i play, they seem to lead to CTDs in MSFS2024.
So to all you guys with XMP profiles activated and maybe also some CPU undervolting going on: Try lowering the BIOS settings, even if they work 100% for all other games you play.
