Engine keeps shutting off

I have a bug that ruins my career mode playthrough. During a long flight after few minutes of innactivity, when I move my mouse the engine shuts down and I can't restart it. Is that a know bug or is there something I do wrong? I checked all my keybinds (autostop and fuel valves) and they are not bind to any key or button.

Hmmm, I did fly quite a bit with an Xbox controller, without issue, before setting up my Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo. If it happens again I'll unbind the whole thing and start from scratch. It may not be playing well with the new version of the sim.

My Bravo quadrant lights also weren't working with MSFS2024 (worked fine in 2020), and in looking up the solution, found that a new driver was on the way to address the problem "in 7-10 days" according to an Aerosoft rep on Nov 21. In the meantime I got them working with the Better Bravo Lights app from flightsim.to - but the lights shut off again halfway through a 3 hour flight yesterday.

This game is unplayable.
1. Engine turns off during career missions (as a hired pilot). It happens randomly without me touching anything. Sometimes I can restart the engine, sometimes I can't.
2. I would be extremely pissed if that happened during the flight in my own plane, but I can't get my own plane, because it's too expensive.
YES, I did get to choose the aircraft with a reduced price, but I chose poorly: a heli for sightseeing missions. After buying it, I realized there are NO MISSIONS for me, so I sold it. Now I've got 200k and I can't buy anything. I'm trying to get cash by flying cargo missions for $8500 but then the engine cuts off and I end up having a crash, wasting about 20 minutes of my life.
3. Loading times are extremely long with 120Mbps internet connection.
4. Has the entire game been made by early versions of AI? Taking off and landing in a chopper I am given the same instructions as if I was flying a plane.

You have obviously never seen helicopter operations at a real airport.
They have to hover taxi just like planes do.

This happened to me as well but I realised the issue was my not flipping between fuel tanks as they got low. Try keeping an eye on per tank levels and manually switching tanks during your flight to see if that helps.

Anyone knows the keyboard shortcut for switching fuel tank?

Hey Guys! I can confirm this is the fuel issue. I'm flying Viking Air and the fuel runs out really quickly. I fill it up to the max in the EFB, but then when I enter the plane there is only 33% fuel. After take off, the middle tank gets empty really quickly and the engine shuts down. There is no warning, not even a sound. When I switch to the front tank, it let's me restart the engine. The story repeats itself with the rear tank. When I totally run out of fuel, I still have about 40km to the destination.
This has happened only in the Viking. Is it a bug? Am I doing something wrong?

I just had this happen in the DHC-2... I kept everything in the green and my fuel selector was on All.

But take a look at fuel ammount in your tanks. There might be a bug when you have your fuel selector on "all", it doesn't use fuel from all the tanks, so you might need to switch it manually.

You're right, this aircraft doesn't have an "all" or "both" or even a crossfeed... I figured out you have to change the red knob during the flight as the tanks get drained.

I think cave men used to fly this airplane.
