perhaps check bindings?
Maybe it was bound to something by default and you mapped something else to same button on your devices. I had this problem with views. I wanted trim to be mapped to hatswitch on my joystick, but i did not realise that there was quick views already bound to that. I was wondering then why when I trim it switches my views. Now always checking for conflicts when I change controls.
Most probably the case, I really don't have this on any aircraft I tried so far.
Sometimes the plane starts with one selected tank instead of both, depending on aircraft but that's it.
I checked everything, but at this point I gave up playing this game.
It has also happened when I lightly bumped the bottom of my Honeycomb Bravo throttle quadrant with my knee, and once when opening the EFB. I've also momentarily lost all power (as if turning off the ignition, where all gauges sweep counterclockwise) and fully recovered a split second later.
I've investigated the issue, but it's not repeatable. The inconsistency is baffling.
I should also point out that I've had several successful 2-3 hour flights in the same airplane.
Mine's the same way. I will be holding the joystick only, keeping myself straight and level with a coffee in my left hand. Hitting zero buttons on the joystick (there's only one near my fingers anyway).
Very, very sporadically I'll be flying for between 30 seconds to 23 minutes (the longest it's gone so far) then hear, "Click!" and shortly after that the engine shuts off. The regular CTRL - E starts it back up again with no issues.
