Thrust reversers how?

I have selected them, but they do not seem to work?
Using old Tthrustsmaster warthog A-10 throttle.

So far I could only assign a button that I have to hold all the time and then move the levler
like I give forward thrust. Also there is a toggle button. I would like to have no button or hold button but the reverse on the same axis as the thrust forward but by moveing it backward.
A whole part of that axis seems "dead" and unused with the buttons.

In the turboprop cert you have to keep holding "power down" (F by default), once it was low enough it would tell you to press Ctrl-F to unlock the throttle and that would then put the throttle into reversing mode. Ctrl-R would then swap it over.
