2024 vs 2020 fps

For me it's about the same, the textures have higher resolution in 2024 and lighting is prettier, but streaming and input lags much more (mouse look, walk-arounds and all those stupid zoom-in/zoom-out loading screens) so overall 2020 is much smoother experience.

In MSFS2020 my FPS are very good in High graphics. In MSFS2024 its very low FPS and stutters a lot

It's not hard. All you have to do is corner and seduce Bill Gates in his Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation building, which is easy to find because it literally says "Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation" in four-foot-tall shining brass letters on the outside. allot better in 2024, i've never been able to set everything to high and ultra before without stuttering, i get no lag what so ever in this game

A lot of lag in MS20 comes from corrupted nVidia shaders. Deleting the shader cache eliminates most of the stutters. nVidia recently patched their driver to reduce or eliminate corrupted shaders, plus Asobo did some work on that front as well. You're right: I've seen very little lag at all. Tiny bits here and there.

I found that turning the settings down to medium helped a lot with that. Still looks good. Just not so big textures to be downloaded.

2024 runs a lot smoother for me compared to 2020. Especially in VR it stutters less and and is overal better. But thats 1 of the few upsides of 2024. The rest still needs a lot of work.

I had 82 fps maximum in 2020. In MSFS 2024 I get 140 fps maximum. The minimums are likewise, a huge difference between sims. For me 2024 edition is buttery smooth. Highest settings on graphics across the board.
