Career mode no passive income

So I have a freight company with 2 planes both set to yes on crew, after 24h I had 0 income. Started a second company VIP charting with one plane set to crew yes, after 24h in real life again I have 0 passive income. Did anyone manage to get any passive income without starting a sightseeing company? I'm starting to think that the issue is there...

It takes me >48 hours for <10K with 5 planes across 5 companies.

If you want decent money save up for a Medevac company, 300-450K a flight if you don't skip any airtime.

Guess that's the next goal then... will probably sell my other companies once I get there =/

yeah passive is like strange i dont know how it works i had 1 plane set to flightseeing and after 2 hours it gave me 31k passive but since then i have brought more company's and now have 3 plane set to crew been playing for hours and have not had 1 passive payment.

If you're not getting any passive income, make sure the planes you have set to "crew" don't have any major mechanical problems preventing them flying

A good point, but it's not the issue. I got 1 passive income from 1 plane 4 days ago, and despite owning 4 companies and 4 planes, none of them are showing records of any more passive income at all. It's just another thing on the list of what happens when you don't allow open development. Crew for companies is kinda of a big deal, and MSFS 2024 doesn't even mention the feature ANYWHERE. Like they hoped nobody would notice.

Its obviously not fully implemented yet, as MS has made absolutely no mention of the crew feature anywhere. It's probably just some half baked placeholder feature for later. But what gets me is the fact our "business" doesn't operate much like a business at all. We have to travel to find jobs. I thought people seeking flights or services came to us. I'd actually like doing flightseeing jobs, if I could actually design the route myself, decide what sights and how many sights we'd hit on the trip. Maybe I want to offer a sightseeing trip around NYC that hits 6 landmarks. Afterall, it's MY sightseeing company. I don't think anyone who worked on 'Career mode' knows the first thing about any aviation career.

yeah, I did not get any passive income today and someone mentioned it may be due to condition.

Here is the kicker though Insurance on two planes cost me over 60K today and completely wiped out my credits. So I can't even afford the Check Up to tell me if my plane has any broken parts.

Change that crew insurance to the lowest insurance you can

All my planes are full green on the maintenance, I thought it could be because I was doing missions in both companies so yesterday I only played with VIP company and didnt touch the cargo company except to make sure both the cessnas were maintened. I have one of them in Brazil near the Sao Paulo area wich is very busy with missions and the other in Florida, also with plenty of missions around. Again, for the 4th day in a row, no passive income at all.

What crew insurance? Isn't there just one insurance option for everything?

Also, more people currently playing msfs20 than 24. Says it all. Lol.

each plane you buy has insurance when you purchase it, if you know it is going to be for your crew only just buy the smallest package if it is a plane your buying to fly depending on how much you crash buy the medium or large package.
