I feel like you almost have to use the collective as much as the cyclic if you want to keep a certain angle.
There's probably some pros over here that can explain it better. Like I said, I'm also a beginner.
Come on dude....I did already a few missions on the heli. Just trim the helicopter and that thing flys on his own. You dont even have to touch the stick anymore.
What are you talking about? I honestly don't care about helicopters, they've never caught my attention, I bought this game for the planes, I'm not going to ask for a refund just for that and because you say so.
I wont argue about this one. But if you trim your heli you can fly just fine...thats the point.
You actually need four buttons for the trim. Forward/backward and left/right (same as in planes) and maybe a even a fifth one for "reset". I use a POV (d-pad) on my stick for it. Similiar to the one animated on the stick in the heli cockpit.
Regardless the flight model needs to be fixed by the developer because helicopters do not naturally fight the pilots input and auto level the helicopter. You do not use trim to fix a bad mechanic in the code.
here is a pic of my trim mapping: https://i.imgur.com/ou30D03.jpeg
