Does it work with a controller?
I bought the previous MFS game, bought myself high end flightstick and throttle. Also went to the full deluxe edition. I was really planning to do many houres daily.
But it sadly didn't turn out the way i wanted. Didn't found the time, and when i did i had a few PC failures. So i had to do the big as game download, do the hardware updates for the flightstick, and then the tedious button mapping a few times to many.

So now i am to lazy to do all "technicall" stuff. i want to have a "plug & play," experience.

So my question, How does the game feel with a controller? is bad or good?

Hello Xamurai,

Yes, gamepads/controllers are supported. Obviously for *most* aircraft types you will have a more realistic experience using flight controls like a stick/yoke, throttle, and rudder pedals, but it's 100% possible to play with a gamepad.

I also think that some of the aircraft are actually better to fly with a gamepad. I personally prefer to fly the Joby S4 eVTOL, for example, with a controller than my regular flight sim peripherals.

Thanks,

I haven't tried that one yet, but I can see this. Like the Jeston One, it's basically a full-size radio-controlled quad-copter, so I could easily see how flying with a gamepad/controller that resembles an RC transmitter would feel very natural with these birds.

I fly the Jetson with my Virpil HOTAS and rudders. Considering that there are three controls and five buttons (cyclic, yaw, collective, and engine prime, kill switch, battery, and cruise mode/activate), it's all easy to program at least.
