How to turn off planned flight path in flight?
Pretty sure I disabled this, but it shows up in game and is very distracting.

Other than that I was blown away by my first VR flight in Seattle Washington state. Ran smooth and maxed out. The terrain and lighting is on another level compared to MFS2020. This surprised me as many YouTubers were saying that from the air it looks the same, but that just isn't true.

Yea it is beautiful, you can turn off the giant teal immersion breaking boxes that are every mile to your destination but the alternative is good luck finding your destination. Zero guidance or boxes is your choice.

I think it's a bug, try turning off the taxi path as well, those guide boxes then disappear.

I have the same issues. They are turned off in the settings but still show in-game.

You can bind a key/button to visual assistance to turn it on or off.

Plug a controller in and click down on the left analog stick

The G1000 is still loaded with the navigation data. Follow the magenta information. Along the top it will give you the next waypoint and bearing. If you’re flying something without it, you’ll have to actually navigate.

There is a setting called something like Toggle Visual Assistance somethingorother

Bind a key for it. As someone mentioned it is bound to left stick press on a Xbox controller.

Hello Flashpan,

You can toggle the navigation assists on or off by mapping a key to "Toggle Visual Assistances Display". We posted more details about this on our official forums here:

Thanks,
MSFS Team

Ok to have that option. But you should also allow us to turn it off in the settings, for those of us that do not want to use a "control bind" on something we would never us.
