help i sold my first plane in career mode
So i started a private company finally then bought a 23k plane but i noticed that i could sell it for 150k so i figured why not but after i sold it the price tag on all used airplanes went up from 250k and above. Any idea what i can do now? it took me ages just to get my 23k lol

Yep, the first plane is heavily discounted. I saw a streamer do the same thing the other day.

I don't know if there is a way to restart the career, but it would be nice if you could because regrinding for that 24K is easier than grinding the 70 or 80K you need to replace it.

Yes, you can restart your career if you feel that it's going to be easier

Good luck. I spent all day yesterday grinding out 150k (already had 100k) to buy a new one, did one flight and realized it needs 144k in repairs.

Do not.... I repeat... DO NOT sell that first plane.

yeah i did the same... ruined my career. This game

You are not alone. I also did that and reset my career.

Here some tricks to get back fast:
1. Bind "Simulation Rate" in the controls. With that you can simply speed up how fast everything is simulated, you will need it later on
2. Unlock the Supply Transport first. Only do the Private/Commercial license and then run the stuff to unlock those type of flights
3. Grind the longest supply run you can find. Here comes the simulation rate handy. Once you are in the air and on the straight line to the target, you mostly have to fly 100-300km. Hit the AutoPilot and Increase the Simulation Rate as far as possible (i think it goes up to 5x, but go as much as your PC can handle). At 4x times and around 90-100 knots speed you shave off around 1 km per second. That makes those runs only take 15-20 minutes in total (instead of hours).

Not only do you get immense XP for that, but also mass on credits. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up my run today too with selling my first plane and was back up to 25k credits within 3 hours to buy anew.

Do you know if this goes for ALL planes? Or is it just the Cessna 172? Because if it is, I might want to save up for a turboprop or some other better plane, just so I don't have to grind extra for an expensive plane.

I have no idea.

i just noticed that if your controllers ain't setup right you use allot more fuel and may have problems getting halfway while fast forward, i did not have this issue with the skyhawk tho only with the DHC-2, again exellent tip thank you

yeah, so far I have not had any fuel issues in any mission I have done, although most of them have been in the Cessna.

It helped when I realized that they have the Cessna set to the left tank so unless you change it you are only using half the fuel.

Now that I own a company and planes I just refuel before every mission.

you can just do sim rate increase make 3000.00 in maybe 5-10 mins just be careful and don't over do it. it worked for me.

But in case they read this, this must be sorted in the future updates either by selling the owned plane for allot less than you purchased it for or reduce the prices for used aircrafts or both.

Where do I find simulation rate in controls? Not seeing this option at all. I’m stuck in the op issue as well..

By default: alt-r then plus or minus keys. But you can rebind individually.
