CPU intensive options to change for perf

I am looking for some info on the in game graphic settings that are most intensive on the CPU
I can not even run the 'Sim Controls' training mission because my 8700k is all used up.

EDIT.
I think i know what tanked my CPU.
I cranked up Terrain LOD thinking it was mostly a GPU thang

Looks like my i7 14700f is going to get a workout!

I asked Microsoft AI 'Co-Pilot and it said Terrain LOD was very expensive on the CPU

So it must be true?

It's looking like it's finally time to build a new PC. My 8700K needs to be put out to pasture.

On a side note, I saw a performance review the other day where they indicated that MSFS 2024 seems optimal for utilizing 24 CPU threads (12-core?).

I asked MSFS's AI Pilot but they seem to have quietly killed him off in this version of the sim. :(
