Report a translation problem
If memory serves it is a toggle (press the key to enable / disable).
On Xbox it is automatically mapped to left stick press.
Saw a streamer yesterday who found it was automatically mapped to a button on his Yoke.
You should be able to search for it (or I believe it is in Tools/Assistances) and assign a key if needed.
I actually find it useful in some Career mode scenarios (Circling an area) and for following the pattern into an airport. So it is nice to be able to toggle them on and off with a click.

You can disable the taxi ribbon and blue navigation assists in Career Mode by adding a keybind for "Toggle Visual Assistances Display". We posted full instructions on our official forums about this yesterday:
