By default this is on C drive... don't ask me where.
I moved it to D: drive. Search the steam thread "Community folder"
I installed the stable version.. but it doesn't work for me ..so I installed the developer version and that hase the same issue:
As soon as the APU goes to avaiable.. it flips Engine Master Switch 1 to ON.
And whenever I switch it Off it switches it automatical on again ..like one of this useless box switch things.
Now if I continue the engine start procedure it takes about 20 minute to spool up the engines and as soon as they rich the avaiable status they shut down .... :(
I am stuck here... does one know if FSBW A320 works and how we get it working?
Saw a video from someone a month ago on alpha build and he had no such issues.
Really want to have the FlyByWire A320... the Asobo A320 is unusable to me. (cockpit freezes and VR looks like you look up hill and it flys bad)
SO THIS IS WHY THE ENGINE SWITCH TOGGLES BY ITSELF. I've been trying to figure it out for a while.
Regarding how to get it to work, I'm not sure. I'll probably give it another go later. But right now I'd just say time, unfortunately.
From what I've read the 3rd party plane developers like FBW didn't get access to the SDK as early as they thought they would, so it'll likely take a little bit for FBW and others to catch up.
I am intrigued by what you mentioned about the iniBuilds A320 cockpit freezing? It's one of the only airliners I've actually been able to complete flights in so far. Have you given their A330 a shot? Maybe it could work for you?
What puzzles me is that it must have worked a month ago with FS2024 alpha built.
I know FlyByWire made an update within a month or two because I had an updated Version on my last FS2020 flight and didn't like it because it looked different and I couldn't get the MSFS flightplan into the FMS anymore... which makes me wonder...
..is it possible that an older FlyByWire Version will still work with FS2024 and if so can we install that one?
So if one has patient to experiment..
Also I somehow believe I have read about such an error reported by a user back then when FS2020 came out but no idea what the outcome or the problem then was.
I believe their idea was a bit that their A320nx is not needed anymore because FS2024 comes with an Asobo A320 that should be good.
It is fine but it is no where near the FBW quality for me.
I flew the larger planes before FS2020 a lot and I might go back to them but in FS2020 I almost exclusivly used the A320. It is very versatile when it comes to range and destinations you can go to especially when you risk to fly to smaller destinations not really fit. I love the FlyByWire A320.
It is all so early and a lot user can't even connect. I have patient and will see with what I end up useing most of the time at the end.
Maybe do some VFR helicopter flying in the meantime. That seems to work fine.
Since the Video I saw where it was working was over a month old I guess the best chance for a working FS2024 version would be Version 0.11.1 before the A380 was integrated which changed a lot:
https://github.com/flybywiresim/aircraft/releases
That Version has to be taken from there and manual installed.
I can try tomorrow and report.
Or if someone tries it before please let us know!
Instead Engine 1 Master going to On and resisting a manual Off switch it does toggle between On and Off each second.
However the MSFS FlightPlan Synch does work and the mouse pointer in VR fits / sticks to the instrument without the strange offset and also the front window isn't that deep scratched ... overall V 0.11.1 fits a lot better with FS2024
Sad that it is not working. It is such a good plane.
