How do you end flight?

I play the game on gamepass.

But dude ive done the Piloting exam for private plane license 9 times. I do everything correct and follow the instructions until it tells me to end the flight. I see no option to do that at all just exit to main menu or abort ive tried both many times and it doesnt work.

I ask for assistance in the discord and they give me half assed answers repeating themselves "Did you power everything down like it tells you to do?" Even tho I say I powered it down and everything. this game is just so bugged and ass.

The flight ends when your engine shuts off. Just pull the mixture to idle-cutoff and it should end.

never had to worry about this, the game always crashes long before I have to worry about landing ;(

I do I have a flight sim setup I do all the requirements and nothing it sits there at the "End Flight" prompt.

ok, so the end flight button is coming up but it isn't working? That's a bug then. Possibly something to do with the streaming problems.

Just the instruction to tell me to end flight but no button or nothing.

It say's something like "Ctrl-Shift-E" in the top right? That shuts down the engine. Once the engine stops, a dialog should come up with a button in the lower right to end flight.

I do shut the engine and no the dialogue doesnt show up/

Hitting a tree or mountain works pretty well.

It's like I said. It's just because the tooltip was missing space to show the E. But I put my mouse over it and it show 'E'. And we probably see it in the command menu too. CTRL+E to turn on/off engine. But to end a flight, it's CTRL+Shift+E.

I know, because I have my licence. I'm a pilot now.

Closing the mixture or turning off the mags also will do it.

You just need the engine to stop. As soon as that happens, it should bring up an End Flight banner and then go to the debriefing screen (I was wrong, there is no button to click like I thought, it just ends when the engine shuts down). This is how I end all missions, so I know it should work. If it doesn't, then something is messed up in the sim.

I have a maybe similar problem with this mission:
I land the plane, get off the runway and stop the plane as required. I ask permission to roll to the parking area and get that permission. Then I have to confirm this, but the game does not recognise my return key any longer. After a while, this counts as failed and nothing else happens, I have to cancel the flight and return to the menu.
