Cessna 172 Basic Cockpit - cant start Engine

Is this a bug? I cant start the engine with the basic cockpit.

The game needs to download the engine first, might take a while

Yeah, the steam gauges 172 seems to be broken for me too. No matter what I do the engine wont turn over.
It's not just you.
If you spawn it on the runway it'll be already started, that seems to be the only way to fly it at this time.

Started for me but the rudders don't work. I think until they fix the servers there will be problems with something on the aircraft or world. They need more bandwidth, nowhere near enough by the looks of it.

I had the same problem. Thought it was broken, but it was I had not removed the two engine covers.

I removed the two covers. The engine do not crank at all. I think Asobo do not connect the battery to the starter. ;)
