Career mode “cheat”

Would love the option to actually edit how much money I get from missions and stuff like that, even being able to edit my own save file to add more money to “MY” “SINGLE PLAYER”(everything is cloud based so it’s technically not mine) career in a game that I paid about hundo euros for.

Now you may ask why would you cheat?

Easy, I want to enjoy the career mode with planes that I actually want to fly, and not endure the grind. Sure I have few day free on weekend, but otherwise no time to grind credits.

It was also a bit annoying to spend all that time flying the same exact plane, only to finally be able to buy.. the same exact plane, which I'm now stuck flying for an even longer period of time. That is honestly pretty awful game design.

The entire purpose of career mode is to introduce a grind for objectives to create the sense of progression and player development, not just empty aesthetics, and you're saying that grind for objectives and progression is awful game design. It doesn't sound like you actually understand or want any resemblance of building a career in career mode. You want a sandbox where you can cut out all that "work". Don't worry. I'm certain Asobo will eventually add some type of a sandbox option to career mode, but players who want the actual feeling of a career in career mode, come first.

The entire Career Mode looks and feels like it was AI Generated. Terrible Character creator even for todays standards, throw some dumb and grindy skill/perk tree in there, some generated Missions. Put the wrapping on it and ship it off. Blows my mind how Studios backed by massive money like Microsoft or even that MMO Amazon did some time back, are riddled with bugs, and fail to impress other than maybe graphicly.

Exactly, furthermore I don't understand ppl White Knighting the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ career mode of all things. If I was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on other aspects of the game, have at it but this.

so how do I do search and rescue missions in free flight? or fight fires in free flight? you can't.

Right, so you don't want career mode, you just want the option to do missions in free flight, with free flight mechanics. Fly whatever, whenever you want, no level/$$$ requirements.

Valve Anti-Cheat, and the software makes the determination whether someone is using cheats in game, and issues bans without any option to appeal. They don't mean anything. I have one myself way back from MW2, where watching netflix on my 2nd monitor triggered the anticheat system as a 3rd party hack, and perma-banned me from the game. Steam also admitted VAC wrongly banned over 25,000 players from MW2 due to similar false cheat readings, and none of them were reversed either.

I second getting Neofly. You can fly freelance jobs using any aircraft and still have it count as part of your career.

IMO Neofly 4 is simply better than the current very bugged career mode that exists in MSFS 2024.

And it doesn't make your ears bleed with the cringe-worthy comments from any passengers.

The only thing I found about NeoFly 4 is that when you get up to 4 hubs and generate routes at those hubs and then have all planes flying at the same time, it's really CPU hungry. I have 4 hubs (CYVR, KLAX, KJFK, CYUL) with 1 manager per hub and generated 20 routes for each hub. Then I have 2 x 747, 2 x 787 & 2 x 320 Neo fully crewed (4 per planes, pilot, co-pilot & 2 flight attendants) and the CPU gets really busy.

Sounds good, my only question is if you can fly medevac or cargo missions in Neo ?

Sounds good, my only question is if you can fly medevac or cargo missions in Neo ?

I can confirm that the game generates many different type missions.I suggest going to this link https://www.neofly.net/missions and see what type of missions are available and if any tickles your fancy.

Cheats in career mode would be great given the games current state.

Insurance doesn't work, so if your plane spawns on top of a building and immediately crashes, then you'd be out $150,000 for repairs.

Cheats are not ALWAYS about taking the easy route, they can undo damage that bugs cause.

What you describe are "save states". :P Not even cheats necessary for it. Just simply being able to save yr current career game would make things a lot easier.
