When or how do you unlock companies in career mode?

When selecting freelance it still shows the low payout, but you will get the large amount. You get about 10x what it says you will get from the mission select screen.

Yes, that needs to be fixed. Just did my first freelancer mission. Took a sightseeing tour nearby which stated only 1100cr.....got paid out 31k. =)

Can someone tell me how I can create another company? I have the basic flight seeing one, but I want to start a cargo company. I have 70k and it says it only costs 10k to start one, but it isn't showing up in my Eligible companies list. I have 2/5 Specialization unlocked (green) and a red icon that says "Aircraft available for purchase" not sure what that means... does that mean I have no aircraft available for purchase and that's why I can't start the Cargo company? How do I get more aircraft to purchase? I have the Aviator version so I should have every Aircraft available.

The company unlocked for me around 24k credits. This was enough for the second hand plane, and 1k for creating the company itself. My second company (since you seem to need different companies for different missions) cost me 10k to found, but I also needed to find 210k for the second hand Cessna cargo plane.

How do you use AI crews in the career mode? Do I have to put the AI at the right airfields or do they just pick missions themselves randomly? I have enabled the crew on the plane via the company management tab. And since this game is online, can they do missions even when I'm not playing (The AI planes need maintenance I know so perhaps not)

I unlocked at level 30 also didnt have much money at all when it opened for me under 5k

You won't be able to unless you have the money for a 2nd aircraft too.

Don't use the skip options. You get huge No Skip bonuses if you don't.

And the other person was right that the missions don't show the total on the map screen

In general: You need for each company an own plane, so if you want to create a company for transport you need at least 240k (230k plane, 10k fee) to open up the company for it

Yeah, I'm just doing flightseeing with my own company and employee misssions, so it's negligble there.

I am not willing to risk it. I maybe ready for my 3rd company if I can pass the IFR exam. I need to do those lessons as I have always been a fair weather flyer, but the license is needed for the charter option.

No, I had to have enough to buy a plane too, so in total I needed 220k credits so I could also buy an aircraft.
