2016 Bing Maps?

Finally got into the game. A quick flight from KCLW to KSPG, and there is roadwork on the Highway that was finished in 2017/2018.

Is this just M$F$2020 (2016 Bing Maps) repackaged?

I did. A local citrus juicing plant near me, Closed in 2013/14, and was demolished in late 2016 still exists in M$F$2024.

Pretty large casino built outside of Boston in 2019 and it's nowhere to be seen. Definitely an old map. Pretty disappointing.

I noticed the same and posted in the scenery discussion board, but yeah, same for my area.

Glad to know I'm not the only one upset by this. Seems like that should have been a given with a new game, but apparently not.

This is the reason I might refund the game.

Most of the updates it seems we're adding procedural details like more animated animals and better looking trees. But they don't match what you are in real locations.

I wonder if that has to do with the server issues, like older data may be lower res and therefore a lower filesize so it downloads first before the latest?

I think Microsoft can golly well afford to update the world cities every once in a while.
