How to log out of microsoft account on the game?

i accidentally signed into my old xbox account while installing the game yesterday and now i cant seem to find a way to log out of it to sign myself into my new current xbox account... can someone please help

I did manage to sign out by going on my microsoft account and signing out all the devices

I think you will need to unbind your steam account from the Xbox account by doing it manually in Steam under your account options. At least you could do it yourself a few years ago. I did it to drop Ubisoft.

If not you may have to reach out to steam support and they will sort it out for you.
