Beyond Ridiculous now

Been trying to load since the second it was released last night, this morning I thought things where better as I got in but when i went to check my planes more than half missing from the premium deluxe edition and NOT EVEN ONE from MSFS2020 transferred over...yes not 1.

After checking that i thought I would change the location of the cache and restarted...Been stuck at 10% again activating packages last hour.......

Just too much.

Beyond frustrating now

It's been live 17 hours and I have "logged" 12 hours in Steam (the other 5 I was asleep). Besides the intro video I haven't even seen an aircraft yet, let alone flown one.

I could forgive some teething issues last night, but this is silly now. I expect MS/Asobo to offer some sort of gesture once things settle down

I just started the game and i got into the servers directly.
Out of my 6 hours played, 3 hours is actual gametime in the air

I just restarted the game and 98% since 15 minutes. Before I got to free flight but endless loading. And now?

I can't even start a flight. Been trying for 2 hours now. I'm glad I decided to try it out on Xbox game pass, I feel sorry for all of you because this ♥♥♥♥ is criminal.

I tried around 6 GMT and yes, it worked. Took me about 10 minutes to download and startup. I'm in West Europe.

after the first initial long queue time (seems solved already) , subsequent loading till now takes only like 2-4 minutes to load those packages. tried career mode and took off into the sky with Cesna but a pita to fly with just keyboard (full pitch down or pitch up hahaha). need to setup my hotas for this before playing for real

Same, I woke up 7AM in Germany, which is 6AM Greenwich, I think. The installation went through within a few minutes.

After that I couldn't load into the world. A restart fixed it, but the cockpit and all the intstruments were missing. Another restart and an attempt with a helicopter. This time the entire vessel model did not load, so my guys just floated around my home town. Performance isn't great, but I put everything on ultra with a 4080, so that's ok.

After that I went into career mode, did the first flight around the airport I picked (Egelsbach just South-East of Frankfurt am Main) and then wanted to try my luck with the first pilot license test.

At no point did my aircrafts ever make any engine noises.

After loading into that endlessly for an hour, I decided to take a walk in the woods to get some fresh air and blood pumping, so I don't end up as the human version of MSFS2024.

This game has potential. If only they had developed it to conclusion. There's plenty more to be frustrated about, from key mapping to handling, but they didn't even give the community the fundamentals for third party to develop vessels on.

i think its the internet bandwidth issue as i notice during my start it is still downloading stuff over the queue. I waited 1-2 hours (8 hours ago when they are still fixing the long queue issue). If you're in Europe might be internet bandwidth impact due to 2 internet cable cut monday which might impact the link to cloud services

Does this also explain all my missing planes from the premium deluxe edition of MSFS2024 or all my aircraft missing from MSFS2020 and I purchased alot over the years.

Going on 2 hours now stuck at 10%.

I have no problems loading anymore. Takes like one minute atm.
The streaming itself is still slow tho.

I cannot even load into the world right now. Servers are effed in the A again. If you're lucky enough to fly, don't stop.
