what happened to xbox controller mapping ?

what did they do to the controller mapping. i cant even setup autopilot with correct settings. it was so easy in msfs2020

its also crashing during remapping. its awful and shouldve been delayed

i got my settings inflict issues with other settings. several things are tied to the same input and i did not even change a thing so far. its comes like this after download?! why is it so hard to just implement the import of your FS2020 settings? would go a far way

Same with the Thrustmaster Airbus Joystick. Just to get FS2020 default, you have to map the buttons. I guess 220€ versions don't even cover an intern doing QA without a plan for ten minutes.

And it does not let you remove the conflicting setting out of that mapping window even.
In FS2020 when there was a conflicting setting a window would pop up informing you and let you remove the current mapping or the mapping it conflicts with straight out of that window.

Now that does not exist anymore and you have to find the conflicting button yourself from the 20 control sections.

I don't know how anyone can roll back so badly in their QoL features.
