Unable to type on login screen

Still can't get the Xbox Account part. Have to do the whole ALT+Enter thing to get a working cursor. But when the box shows up to enter your account info, it won't let me type in the box. The text cursor disappears as soon as I click it.

I used tab when I tried yesterday to move around the login.

I had to pull my joystick and steering wheel out of USB, then the cursor stays in the window and you can type.

I already did that. It's the part where it's asking you to type. The moment you click it, the box loses focus and doesn't let you type anything.

That's going to be a problem. They're all connected behind my PC. I'd have to drag the whole system out to be able to get to it. And if I have to do that every time I need to type something, I might as well just refund it and wait till they can actually make this work.

Try using keyboard on screen. Maybe that will work

Its got nothing to do with the keyboard. The text box you're supposed to type in loses focus. It's literally impossible to type in that box. The best I got was to rapidly click it while trying to type a letter on the keyboard. But that takes a long time and sometimes it doubles up characters and then backspace removes 3. So it's a one step forward 2 steps back situation. It's extremely broken and needs to be fixed.

Thank you for replying. But I have already tried using tab to get to the text box and the same thing happens. The cursor immediately goes away and I am unable to enter my login info. This does not solve my problem.

use the windows key (between ctrl and alt) it will make the cursor appear then movit it above the field you need to enter text, repeat if the curso disapear again

I didn't have the same problem, maybe try copy pasting in the text box and see if it work since it would be a single action ctrl+v
