if it was that easy not to end up in spam or straight up ignored... licencing is hell to get even in touch with developers
Xplane might be more suited and easier to directly contact the devs.
Commercially? Not necessarily.

When you purchase standard end user licence you are not allowed to use it for commercial purposes. It is specifically written in EULA.
Steam has commercial account and if the developer decide to offer their game / product for commercial use through steam, they upload commercial licence. But not many developers do that unfortunately.
I wish they would be obligated to do so. It would make everything much more transparent and easier for everyone.
