Commercial licence
Hello, are there any plans to add commercial licence?
So far I found only one flight sim which is available for commercial use. But that is combat oriented flying.

My business is very small mobile VR arcade which I bring to various events. People can then try stuff for 10 minutes or more. I have full setup with hotas and peddals for solid experience.

The goal is basically to spread VR technology to people who never tried it before to spark the interest. And Flight Sim 2024 seems like a perfect game for introduction to world of simulation and VR!

thank you,

isnt P3D available for commercial outlets?

it's based on an older version of FS (FSX?) but it's still useable.

it's a big stepdown in prettiness gfx wise though (imho).

I'm not certain if it supports VR though come to think of it.

Xplane might be more suited and easier to directly contact the devs.

No need to contact Laminar about it. They sell a commercial license from their website. Search Xplane Professional.

No need, a purchased license here lets you use the sim however you want.

Commercially? Not necessarily.

This my friend is the fantasy people live in :)
When you purchase standard end user licence you are not allowed to use it for commercial purposes. It is specifically written in EULA.

Steam has commercial account and if the developer decide to offer their game / product for commercial use through steam, they upload commercial licence. But not many developers do that unfortunately.

I wish they would be obligated to do so. It would make everything much more transparent and easier for everyone.

You would stand more chance posting this on official MSFS forums https://forums.flightsimulator.com/
