A golden tip for you to save money by not having to buy expensive editions of MSFS 2024 unnecessarily
In today's developer stream, it was revealed that if you own the Deluxe or Premium Deluxe edition of MSFS 2020 and decide to buy the Standard edition of MSFS 2024, for example, all the content from the Deluxe or Premium Deluxe edition of MSFS 2020 (handcrafted airports and aircraft) will be transferred to your standard edition of MSFS 2024 at no cost. You obviously won't have the NEW handcrafted airports and aircraft included in the Deluxe and/or Premium Deluxe editions of MSFS 2024.

Also, if you are interested in just one or two aircraft from the Deluxe or Premium Deluxe editions of MSFS 2024, for example, you won't need to buy the entire edition. The developers have informed that all aircraft from the Deluxe and Premium Deluxe editions will be sold on the marketplace separately, where you can purchase only the aircraft you are interested in.

My tip: Only buy the more expensive editions if you are interested in most of the aircraft that the edition offers. If you are only interested in one, two or three aircraft, it's better to buy the cheaper edition and buy those aircraft separately.

Not sure? With 5 or 6 planes and no airliners at $70, we reach this amount very quickly.

My tip would be to not buy any expensive version depending on how serious you are about flight sims.

If you do airliner stuff with an FBO then save your money for a decent 3rd party aircraft.

If you're a causal player that's more interested in scenery, go for it.

The fact is that Asobo outright neglected the top tier aircraft in 2020 and I've no doubt they'd do it again here. You could potentially justify it in the basis that you're receiving a lot of aircraft, but in 2020 it was only three. The Citation Longitude was in a sad state for a long time before Working Title picked it up. The Cessna 172 Skyhawk was flyable but lacked lots of basic autopilot features for years, again before WT picked it up.

Save your money and instead buy the Fenix, the A2A Comanche or a PMDG aircraft. Quality over quantity.

So the premium planes from 2020 that will carry over will be an older version and different from the newer ones that come originally with 2024?

No. Let's say the "license of the aircrafts" will carry over. In 2024 you'll get the updated versions of those aircrafts.

Better to be the master of a few then the master of none.
