There's no dynamic campaign at all, we've been asking this forever.
I'll let the dev team and Microsoft know for you. It'll have to wait until tomorrow, though.
Do you think it's weird to think that a fully featured flight sim shouldn't have the ability to have a copilot to simulate the actual workload of the aircrew? And the game has always had multiplayer so your attitude feels oddly misplaced.
Well, I mean I've shared a cockpit with people in MSFS and XP 12 a number of times through third-party software (with the exception of the Hot Start Challenger which has native support for shared cockpit). Some aircraft are designed to be operated (and legally must be flown) by two (or three) people in the cockpit. Sure flying the Hot Start Challenger in XP 12 for example is possible by yourself (I've done it many times) but with someone else flying with you the workload is greatly reduced and it's much, much more fun.
Honestly, this would be the most boring co-op game ever made. My friends would disown me if I made them play this with me lol.
And sometimes it might be nice to just go for a ride with a friend.
While the effort of syncronizing the controls of a single plane in a multiplayer session might not be worthwhile for the initial release compared to the demand for it, I hope it gets added at some point in the future.
Falcon 4 does all of that and is a fraction of the price.
Therefore, it’s no surprise that many of them downplay the issue of the missing shared cockpit, especially considering that this feature existed in some previous versions of the simulator and suddenly disappeared without a trace.
