Could this run on a 1070?

I am running a 1070 with 64GB RAM, m.2 drive. I'll upgrade in the middle of next year, could this thing run reasonably okay on my current build or will I need to wait?

Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 5700, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970, or better.
VRAM: 4GB.
Storage: 50GB.
Bandwidth: 10 Mbps.
Operating System: Windows 10 with the latest update.

Notice that the posted minimum. Is a GTX 970. Don't expect miracles from your 1070 though.

I use to play MSFS2020 on a RTX 2070, and it struggled really hard. I really don't think a 1070 is going to cut it for 2024.

I was using a 1060 in FS2020, it was impressive, even flying over dense areas like New York, as long as you spend a little time optimizing. I think it´s worth a try.

It should run but who knows how well. If in doubt on whether to spend money on it then maybe spend the money on a 1 month Subscription to Game Pass.

If MSFS 2024 does not work you still have lots of other game options to get your money's worth out of it, including Stalker 2 on the 20th and the new Indiana Jones game on 12/8

I initially ran MS2020 on a 1070 and it ran fine at medium settings. Cant see this being any different.
