Graphics issue
The entire environment is in LOD like right in front of me, if I aim down with iron sights it all comes into detail but if I come out of it, it's in this really bad look and distant objects don't appear making spotting animals at distance really easy.

How do I fix this? I have an i7 4790k, gtx 1080 and 16 gigs of ram, plenty to run this game at max settings but it doesn't matter what settings I use it does this.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm loving the he'll out of the game, but this is a little strange to me. I was playing with a friend and he said his environment wasn't looking like that so I'm not sure.

And it's not the common blocky graphics issue, that's not happening. It's just like everything past maybe 20 or 30m are displaying in LoD like I'm way far out.

Let's Start with game video settings in You're launcher. In you're Game Launcher, Under "Settings".. then "Game Settings" Make sure "Vertical Sync" is Checked On.

Screen Resolution Matches you're Display Monitor settings.. Including the Frequency (Hz)

Scene complexity Above Low

Texture Complexity Above Low

Shadow Quality Above low ( Wont have an effect on you're problem but helps with Quality)

the remaining ones.. are not quite important.. but maybe you want to experiment with them..
Save settings and relaunch the game.. (May Require a Launcher restart before running a Game session). See if that fixes it first.. then we'll move on from there.

Ok , now goto youre Video Card Control Pannel or youre Videocard Software that adjust youre Video card.. Goto 3-D settings conroll and make sure that :
Ambient Occlussion is " off "
Anisotropic filtering is set to "Aplication - Controlled" (<-Most important)
Antialiasing - Mode is also set to "Application - Controlled"
Antialiasing -Transperancy is set "off"
all prerendered frames are set to 3D application settings if you have this option
Texture filtering - Antialiasing Sample Optimization or just : Antialiasing Optimization is set to "off"
Texture filter Quality is active and Filter Trilander Optimitation is also Active.
Tripple buffering does help but creats lag.. Its upto you.. i sugest keeping this off.
Verticle Sync - on Use 3-D application Setting.
Virtual Reality Pre-Render Frames set to "1"
Save these settings... Restart youre whole system.. and try running thehunter then.
(also make sure youre Resolution and color managent matches youre Windows (Assuming you use Windows) and Monitor Display on the Video Card settings)

*Please make sure youre Video Card Drivers are Updated first thing thou*

It's updated and everything is set to application controlled for both Nvidia Inpector and Nvidia Control Pannel

Also, I don't notice it do this in the Bayou, only on the other reserves I've hunted on.

I'll try and get a screenshot when I get home but that won't be fire like 6 hours or more.

It's at 1080, what I play all my games at. I just verified the files again before I go to bed (3rd time) and it had a file needed to be verified. I'll check in the morning if it fixed it.

Sometimes you still need to adjust to a different resolution i find in different games that would get things like this right despit the one youre used to. I found some people needed to use somewhat different than normal ones for this games too in some of their systems in the past. Im just sugesting you try different ones to see if it does go normal visual effects.
Hope that File integrety check thou does the trick. But try to run the game at different resolutions to see the reslts if that might clear it up for you anyhow if still not working right.
