Tactics for European Rabbit hunt
I prefer the open landscape of Bushrangers Run. My tactic start with the search of a group of rabbit holes. If possible I do that from a higher position (for example the hillside side of Copper Hills Lodge and start glassing W, NW & SW). Once I find those holes, I place my tripod stand amidst the series of holes and shoot the rabbits with the scoped .22 Pistol.

What are your tactics guys?

And of course, before I kill rabbits, I check all the tracks in the area for my Tracking Skill. And before every kill, I try to spot every animal positively. Good for my Spotting Skill...
Several times, I noticed that a series of rabbit holes is mostly the territory of just one sexe. Altough a spooked female or male can flee towards the holes of another sexe. Are there other hunters who noticed the same...
pretty much the same XD find the burrows, lay down somewhere nearby and wait for them to pop out of the hole ;)

at first they need to be spooked though, so that they flee into them.

then, depending on the missions - if i already done the ones where you need the blind or the shotgun - i simply find a rock where i can see more the two holes and snipe them off with the .17HMR.

easy enough and if you are far enough they dont jump straight back into the burrows. spotting is not always that easy ^^ often they turn on spot and drop back into the hole :/ i dont wait for that XD
not sure about the gender thing, never observed that so i cant confirm nor denie ;)
