Exclamation Mark thing ?
i dont know if anyone else asked before, i didnt find a thread on this, so... WTF are those exclamation marks on the maps? i went to one of them and there was nothing, nothing out of the ordinary, just a bunch of rocks and thats it... is it a "special" hunting point or something? thanks to anyone that can answer me! cheers and happy hunting

Just a landmark/points of interest. My favourite out of ones I've seen is Canyon Creek at Logger's Point, I think. It has a really cool bridge there.

There are some missions that require either just going to them, or shooting/sighting etc an animal near them.

@Freelance Warner, that was the one i went to, the beneath the bridge, i was walking around those rocks and trees, and nothing happened... but sure is a good view!

Thanks both! and btw, mushrooms? A year or 2 ago i tried the game, it was really different from what it is now, and i dont remember being able to pick mushrooms... what are they for? missions too? or you can sell them and do stuff with them?

They're just for collecting. You can't do anything with them.

Nah I must have just missed something but the exclamation mark on the map led me straight to the electrical tower

It provides power to the reserve of course!

If you're talking about the one at the south end of Logger's Point, it's for the power station. One of the Feral Hog missions send you there. Some, if not all points of interest are used in missions.
