It's up the host to decide who can be in their game. Some don't allow free players.

Also some hosts restrict it to their friends or put a minimum Hunter Score as entry criteria.

It should show either at a lodge or at a tent (if the host has placed one on the map to be used).

sadly this game needs an uppdate there is no arrow or invite button or annyhting, i want my friend to join. how it seems i was the only one in the world with that problem so im asking here

It is a bit clunky but it works like this.

You host a game:

In the Launcher you click on HUNT NOW > Multiplayer Game

You select the map, starting time, give it a game name and description if you want. Either restrict it to your profile friends or password the game.

He wants to join the game?

He clicks on HUNT NOW > Find a Multiplayer Game

A list of games and hosts comes up, which can be filtered by game or host name. He clicks on the entry in the list, and on the right of the screen he presses the JOIN GAME button.
A game map is displayed. All he has to do is select a spawning point, whether a lodge icon or a tent, then ideally you get the spinning wheel, the splash screen and intro music and you're in.

Sometimes you get an error message and cant join a game. If so that's when you start tearing your hair out.
