No thankyou no one needs to support this
and there is a huge amount of mountain lions in america or that i think dont live there
It's never really bothered me as this is a computer game, but the general feeling I got was that people are happy shooting electronic animals that don't really cause a threat to you in game and that have no real ethical issues attached.
My own view is that it would be an interesting addition to the game.
Thank you.
But because this is fake I've no problems with it, so I see no reason why they wouldn't want animals that are NOW endangered, like the Gray Wolf or as the OP suggests Mountain Lion, this is just a game! And the Devs know that too because in their other game, theHunter Primal you can hunt on Dinosaurs and even kill humans!
And if the reason for the devs not to add these kind of animals because it has to be realistic then they could add a map that "turns you back in time" where it was normal to hunt these kind of animals and make that map in that setting with CLASSIC HUNTER GEAR ONLY (No Huntermate :P), extra fun for competitions and something different while still being very realistic as people hunt back then.
Not sure if I'd hunt crocodilians too though. They're awesome creatures.
alot of people cant make the distinction between a game and real life, by adding endanged speices you are by default supporting shooting endanged species... and thats wrong!
I'd suggest most adults can and do make the difference, and those that can't or won't are possibly in need of professional help. It's also why games have a PEGI rating for younger players even if it is only a token gesture.
Many games simulate things which I would not or could not do in real life; to play a simulation of shooting a lion for instance does not mean I support this practise in real life, much less that I would go out and do it.
Dunno why you're so bothered by this. It's just one animal I am not shooting, out of dozens that are available in the game. I love animals and I have no qualms shooting them in games. Wolves and sharks are my two fave wild animals, and I'd prefer not to kill any in a game if I had an option to do so. I am not obligated to shoot everything in theHunter, so I chose not to kill coyotes because I pretend they're wolves. If it's a game where I HAVE to kill them (or I don't progress), then I'll do so.
! don't see how this has anything to do with 'harming the species in real life' as you stated. Of course it doesn't. It's just something I don't want to do in this game.
Guess we have to ban COD, Battlefield, Halo and other such games because people can't make the distinction between a game and real life... SMH
Ikr lol makes no sense
