It's about the same as the cable back. The CB has a large clumsy head which can make hitting things at a distance far less precise.
Either bow are fine if you're using them constantly. If you're levelling up with them, always take them out and get used to the sight picture and various riser or other reference marks to use at each range then it becomes straightforward enough to use. They're also extremely lethal up close at almost impossible to miss distances. It's when you stop using them, have become lazily dependent on sighting pins, then one day decide to go back to the barebow experience and find yourself suddenly lost as your about to take a shot that your hit percentage statistics might take a nose dive. Bare bows are fine if all you use is bare bows. As an occasional thing they are okay, but are the least precise tool in your hunting arsenal.
Buy a bare bow if you are flush with cash and either want to try them out or need to do the trad bow missions, and accept that their performance is not the best. If the trad bows were so good bow manufacturers wouldn't have spent so much time and energy dabbling in fancy cams, cable systems and modern high tech bow sights in the first place.
Performance can be compared here:

I have used that chart more than is healthy.
