Sambar caller

Any potential for a caller for the Sambar deer the spray has such a small range and with the deer always being difficult to hunt and find a caller would help get them close in, dont know why one hasnt been implemented yet since all other deer species has one along with the newest addition the Wood Grouse.

some species dont have a caller, i guess it wasnt intended since some would not react to a fake call.
sambas are indeed one that has only the spray. take it as a challenge to get close enough for a safe shot. it is after all a hunting game ;)
sry, no actual advise other then find out where they roam and be carefull while moving.

Some of us like it that way. And to be honest you should not be able to call red deer on Val De Bois either ... because red deer will only answer a caller during the rut, and the Val is not an autumn map like Hirschfeldon.
In reality Sambhur are a difficult animal to hunt and the game has currently programmed them that way.
If you hunt sambhur on foot in game just walk in the areas they frequent and when you hear one call use your spray and back off to an ambush spot. 80% of the time they will turn up within the lifespan of the scent. They are really not that difficult.

I don't hunt them but if I did i'd hunt them like I do for elk. Still hunt until I see one or they call. Then sneak into the call until you spot them before they see you.
