sambas are indeed one that has only the spray. take it as a challenge to get close enough for a safe shot. it is after all a hunting game ;)
sry, no actual advise other then find out where they roam and be carefull while moving.

just checked your profile and see now... you have enough experience ;)
In reality Sambhur are a difficult animal to hunt and the game has currently programmed them that way.
If you hunt sambhur on foot in game just walk in the areas they frequent and when you hear one call use your spray and back off to an ambush spot. 80% of the time they will turn up within the lifespan of the scent. They are really not that difficult.
